tire pressure

quick question, what tire pressure should i keep the bfg traction t/a's on my car at. one is flattening out when it sits so i think its low but i dont kno how much to put in.

30-32 psi. should provide a comfortable ride.

check the side of the tire for recommended PSI

Check your door tag. It has the reccomended tire size and pressure for your vehicle. If you are running a different size tire and or rim, contact the BFG for reccomended pressure. That's what they told me when I contacted them.

dont ever set the tire to what it says on the side....that is the MAX TIRE PRESSURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not the reccomended one.

That's the MAX pressure.


The recommended pressure is usually written in the door jamb of the vehicle. On my '03 GT, there's a sticker inside the gas door as well.

Tire pressure is a function of the weight of the vehicle and the size of the tire's footprint.

Stock pressure is 30psi with 245's, so wider tires can run a few psi lower with a wider surface area on the ground
