The Nitto 555 is with in a couple of bucks of that and are better gripping tires and have personaly gotten 64k miles out of a set that I properly took car of, but raced a few times.
If its possible to get that many miles out of them its a no brainer to go with the Nitto's. I was thinking they were good for only 30-35K miles. Did you do a lot of highway driving?
I drove from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham(in Alabama) every day, about 80 miles there and back. The tires lasted about a year and a half. 32 psi rotated every other oil change.
