Hey I'm rebuilding my 67' mustang coupe. 2 new crager rims and micky thompson drag radials were given to me for free for the rear end. I plan on raising the rear a bit with new leaf springs.

The size of the tires are 16 X8 p255/50r16. Will those fit? Will new leaf springs do it?

those tires have only a 1.2" larger diameter than stock tires. they should fit no problem, as long as the backspacing is around 4.5"

with a 10" section with of 255 tire, you'll be cutting it close to either hitting the leaf springs or the inside of the wheel well.

good luck

yueah, the tires will fit for sure but probably about the max size you can go, rims all depends on the backspacing to know for sure if they'll fit. if you already have them mount them up and see.
