Hey Boys, quick question about tire size. I'm getting nitto 555's and just wanted to see with that size I should go with for good track use. I have 17in stock bullets. any info would be good.

i prefer a lil more meat, i run 255/40-17. it will alter your milage and MPH ever so slightly, but it wont matter much. the 255 nittos were great back when i got them. when i become unbroke i'm going back to em.

255's in front and 275's in back work great for me!

245's on a stock 8" rim. Any wider, and you start to get bulging and loose contact with the pavement.

There is a tire size in 265-40/17 in the tire rack website...Its not nitto brand though. Its an 1/2inch narrower than a 275 tire and works on an 8" wheel.
