I know the stock size on 91 5.0's are 225/55/ZR16 but aim looking to go a little wider on my 16" pony wheels. All the suspension is new and tight. Any suggestions on what size to go with. I would like to go with 245/50/16's all around but don't want them to rub. I also don't want to have any issues with the rims. Thanks.

I'd like to keep the same size on all four corners. Where do u think they would run up front?

Not necessarily. Different profile and wheel size. 245/50/16 has more side bulge than 245/45/17

On a side note, I had a buddy who had 245/50/16s all around and I don't believe he had any rubbing issues

Where did you get that from? Side bulge is based on wheel width not profile size

Full lock up = Steering wheel turned all the way to the lock (stop)

i didn't get it from anywhere. i was generalizing when i said "wheel size" to include width and height. both contribute to bulge.

I had 245/50-16 up front with 255/55-16 rear on roh wheels and had no problems. Wheels were on my 88 coupe and my 88 t-top hatch. Both however had stock suspension.

I prefer the same size tire on all 4 wheels, otherwise tire rotation is pointless side to side.

Just slapped on 245/50/16's on all four corners with no rubbing issues. Looks and feels great. Thanks for all the info.
