Tire wearing funny

I went to rotate my tires today and noticed that the inside of my front tires have a weird wearing problem. Its like the start of the radial is worn more and less as towards the back. I think the term is called feathering, or I have seen also called the saw blade effect. I'm thinking that its the camber. Well I thought I would consult the forums cause alighnments aren't cheap these days. But it does pay off in the long run if you go to a respected place to get one done. Well I know it will make a differance that I have: steeda bump steer, Caster/camber plates, FRPP C springs, Tokico BLUES shocks and steeda X2 balljoints.

anyway I live in Alabama so if anyone knows of a highly repected alighment shop here I would love to know. Cause I hate letting some Joe blow go F*^%)*# with my car and taking joy rides. Thanks.

if the tires are fairly worn, buy a new set and take it for an alignment (i'd go to a ford dealer)

if they're not that worn take it for an alingment anyway. it's not like this something you can do in your driveway

well they are faily new tires just have about 3k on them. and if you had the time and the patiensts you could to a toe adjustment in your drive way but you would be measureing again and again and again to get them straight. that what me and my dad did on his 65 when he first put it on the road and the alighment shop said it was only .5 of a degree toe in on one side.

I just took mine in the other day for and alighment with the same issue. I have the Steeda Sport springs installed and he adjusted the toe out as much as possible but it is still a hair off. A lot better than it was but in order to get it right I will need some CC plates. I'd bet if you take yours in they can adjust it since you already have the plates.

I put two tires on the front of my car like 3 or 4 months after I bought rear tires. After like a couple months the front tires were completley bald around the edges, and were dipping out. I still have the back ones on my car and that is with countless burnouts, doughnuts, and etc. Im not sure what was up with the diffrence in wear. I figured rear tires would be the first to go.

sounds like toe is out. definately want to take it to a shop to get it aligned. i usually do not suggest going to a dealership for an alignment as with my experience they just blast toe. true on mustangs you cant adjust anything that much unless you have C/C plates, but pay a little more and go to an experienced independent alignment shop and have them align the vehicle.

btw what tires did you get, as some tires are more prone towards wear than others.

I had the bridgestone fuzion's they are junky tires, they ride like crap.

I have the Fuzion ZRI's and I think they are a great tire. Curious why you think they are crap?

true fuzions are junk. the only tires i would consider are the Michelin Pilot Sport series(currently have), Goodyear GSD3, or the BGF KDW series.

Probably wear issues. I have problems with the tires "coming over the Pacific" warping and causing vibration. Never had a problem like that with domestics, Italian or German tires. May not be your experience but I won't buy another cum-ho or Fuzion tire because of that.

I didn't like the way the rode at all, plus they were wearing uneven as hell I still had good tread in the middle of the tire, but the wires were almost showing on the edges. They never hooked up for me, I spent most of time trying to burn them off so I could get some new ones. I have some Falkens on there right now and it rides great!

Well if they were wearing on the outside you had them under inflated. That's what happened to my old set of tires. I've had mine 3000 miles. Still a lot of tread, great traction and no ride problem. Now I upped my tire pressure last week and the ride was worse. When it was at 31 no adnormal wear and ride was fine. You guys either had a ****ty alignment shop or just a bad set of tires. Mine have been great so far
