I need new tires for my 03 Cobra. I am leaning toward the stock Goodyears. Please give me your thoughts and opinions for other good or better choices.

I like the BFG g-force KDW's. About $180 each at tire rack.

I put the Goodyear Eagle GSD3's on my '03 back in December and loved 'em. They seemed quiter than the stock, and didn't seem to spin quite as easily.

The tread patter is a showstopper, as well.

Tires

I honestly couldnt be more happy with my Nitto 555r drag radials! They hook great and look great. On the average I have seen them for about $165 each which is cheaper than the BF goodrich I previously had. Happy Shopping!-Shane

I agree with the above post...plus you still will see at least 15,000 miles out of them. I have 275/40/17 Nitto drags on my stock 17x8 wheels...they wouldn't hold in first, but they would dig in from second and above.

I also have 295/35/18's on my Cobra R's....awesome looking tire, and sticks like a mofo. I can still break them lose in 1st, but they sure try to hold, then in second....I'm gone. Only bad thing is I'll be lucky to see 1 year out of them and they cost $500 for the set out the door, installed.
