I put a new suspension in my 65 New upper and lower Control arms.
My tires are rubbing the upper control arms.

There were a bonch of metal "Shims" in the control arm bolts when I took the old ones off. I didn;t put them back on when I installed the new control arms. My assumption is that I should have.

So what do I do? Will getting an alignment correct this?
Should I get a bunch of big washers and put em between the UCA and the car?

Those shims are there for alignment. If you replaced the control arms with stock equipment then you'll need to have them there and you need to have the right thickness for the correct alignment. This is where your local alignment shop get's involved.

Just put as many back in as you can find (we lost 2/3s of ours. haha) Eyeball it and get it roughly correct, or at least enough that you can drive it to an alignment shop. I wouldn't drive it any more than just to the alignment shop though, until you get it fixed.
