I need some new front tires (rears are still fine)...

I've been very happy with the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP 255/40/17 on the fronts, and have been trying to get another pair but I just can't find a good price. I've called 8 dealers and they are asking $325-$400+ per tire! Last year I got them for $221. And they keep saying they discontinued the 255's and only have 245. So screw it, and I don't want to go through the hassle of ordering online (I always get screwed on Tax/Duty in Canada).

Anyway, I've been debating over the BFGoodridge KDW or Kuhmo Supra 712's.

Fill out the poll!

i have hankook ventus sport 104's & love them, they are the best hooking street tire i've ever had on my car :nice: i got mine off of www.discounttiredirect.com for $460 shipped to my door :D btw they are 275/40 - 17

also if you find a tire that you like on line with a good price. print out that page & take it in to sears. if they have it in stock they will match the price, plus give you 10% of the difference :nice:

I just purchased the 104's installed on the car plus i payed tax and disposal of the old tires the final bill was S 409.19 they where 95.00 a piece before tax installed if you live near northern WV its a hell of a deal.

I have the Kumhos and I think they are great. 245/45ZR17 $90 and the 275/40ZR17 $110 from Tire Rack.com. Plus if you order from them if you decide against the road hazard(bad idea not to pay the little extra) they will sell you replacements at half price if something happens to one of the tires.

For a daily driver, I am really enjoying my Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s:
