I am in need of new tires so just looking for some opinions. I have a 92 LX Hatch on ponies with hopefully new this week KYB shocks/struts and FMS C springs. Looking to get 245-50's. It's a daily driver and I won't be driving it too hard. Just need a good performing street tire. Looking at BFG KDWS, Kumho ASX...any other recommendations? Price is a factor unfortunately. Thanks.

I have Toyo Proxes FZ4's...great price and ride quality. I'm also sitting on Bullitt springs and KYB shocks and struts.

Worth looking into..

Yokohama AVS ES100. Sticks well in the corners and a decent price at $110 a piece. I had them when I had my ponies and now I have them with the 17" 99 cobra's.

have KYB shocks/struts and C Spring also... Nitto tires are the way to go, i love them... they can get pricey tho

We sell a lot of those Fuzions. You can get them anywhere from an H- Z,W rated. Dont make a V. You wouldnt want an H or a V anyway. Price wise not bad. Fuzion is a product from Bridgestone, it took the place of the Dayton ZR. Also another choice is the BFG G-force Sports. Im running those now. I ran the Fuzions when we 1st bought the car for a few months and they performed great. Then I got the 17" Saleen wheels and chose to go with the BFG's just to try them as well, price was within a few $$$$ of each other. Both seem ok.

Thanks, I will look into all of those recommended and compair cost and such. 16K miles, what a find!

Runinagt, man hang on to that thing forever! I kind of came across a gold mine too, found it on eBay a few weeks ago, only 56K, black on black hatch.

Correct. They make a plain G-Force Sport which is what I have, they also make the

KD= Key dry
KDW= key dry and wet
KDWS= key dry, wet, and snow.
KDW II= wicked tread design
G-Force T/A Drag radial.

Got the tire guide book over on the counter.
