Nitto 555's
255/45/18 front
295/45/18 rear
I just bought wheels for my 06 Ford Mustang GT. Black deep dish bullit wheels.
Front is 18x9
Rear is 18x10
What brand tires, sizes etc would anyone recommend?

Congrats on the wheels, my personal favorite.
I have 255/45/18 on all 4 corners but I'm considering going wider on the back for more traction. The car won't hook for nothing with the 4.10's.
Why is everbody always ravin over the nittos? Just curious. What's so special and how much $$$?
I can't tell you the name of the tires I have. I bought them mounted and balanced on the bullitts from american muscle. Starts with a Y, Japanese sounding name. They won't hook for squat, the car goes sideways in 2nd gear if I don't let off.

That's because you're using street tires at the track. Nittos and BFG KDW2's are great for the street, but suck at the track. With 4.10's, drag radials or cheater slicks are a must if you want to hook up. Do yourself a favor. Get some 17x9 Bullitts and some M/T ET Streets or M&H Racemaster drag radials.
Yokohama is likely it, useless for HP+Traction applications. Like riding around on plastic. any hint of some throttle and your getting wheel spin..
Do yourself a favor and try a good soft compound tire. Like Dark mentioned do the Nitto, night and day difference, but for some phenominal grip the Radials are a must. Darks right on par listing M&H as well as ET streets..
You definitely don't wanna mismatch tires. All brands ride differently. Your rear end will be all over the place if the front tires are riding differently.
For the street, I recommend BFG KDW2's or Nitto 555's. Both are great for dry or wet payment.
