Well Just got off the phone with x2c motorsports. Got suckered into buying a TKO 600. He said he recommended that one over the 500 just because of the 26 spline shaft. Also that later on i could send it in to be cryogenically treated for my next setup if i wanted.. and it would be good for around 950 hp...

The only thing im worried about is shifting.. How different will it be? Stock 1st is 3.3 soemthing and im going to like a 2.87 1st. But on the other hand you get just a little more overdrive, which is nice.

To have it treated now would have cost me 400 extra. I think in all actuallity the the tranny will be better suited for street and drag racing.. Shifting half way into each turn kinda got old.

I don't know.. what do you guys think? Deffenetly needed something, was this a good choice. I hate to second guess myself.

Also, Eades, i just couldnt fork out the extra 400 right now to upgrade.. Our combo's are just one more step to being the exact same.. :notnice: But you go with what works right?

Yes that means first is longer. I paid 1599 + shipping (70$). Now i called d&d and they wanted more, but like all of them say they will match prices.

Im sure i could have saved a few bucks by shopping around a little but i didn't think that was too bad.

I still have to get a clutch, clutch fork, bell housing, yoke, and drive shaft spacer. Christmas gift ideas though.. lol

How much do you expect to pay total? The internals of this one are heavier right? I think Paul said he lost .2 swithcing trannys.
that depends on a lot of stuff. To give you an idea D&D offers the complete setup for $1999. But i think im gonna go ahead and get the sfi approved bellhousing (350 compared to 199 with the aluminum alternative). And i haven't decided on which clutch yet.

Nice thing about were i live is that i got all winter to tinker with the car. bad part is i don't get to drive it all winter...

Id reccomend to get e driveshaft that is a custom length for your car.

However I have a driveshaft spacer that you can have. Id rather not ship but I live downtown in the city. If you want it, its yours.
