sorry about the confusion, but no problems with shipping, ordered it mon and got it on fri the only thing you need to do if you buy trans fluid from them, tell them to ship it seperate cause when i got mine 1 quart had punctured and leaked all over the box, other than that they were great and Ive been powershifting with ease eversince.

Ford T-56 on Top and TKO 500/600 on bottom. I bought my TKO 600, clutch disc, driveshaft, bellhousing, and a few misc. parts from D&D and they are awesome. Stuff was shipped fast and I had to call them with a few quesitons here and there and they were always friendly and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

call when you order it and talk to Don he seemed to know what he was talking about, another thing was he told me that the aluminum bellhousing was on back order for 4 months, so see if you can find one from somewhere else, unless you want the bulletproof one for $329, I couldn't wait so i got steel. my total price was $2491 for TKO500 26 spline input shaft, super heavyduty 26 spline clutch, three quarts of trans fluid, bulletproof bellhousing, and 31 spline driveshaft slip yoke.

yeah im not going to go threw the hassle of indexing a scattershield, and I heard you have to pull the motor to put on the steel bellhousing

nope, I have mac shortie headers and it worked out great, took old bellhousing out and put new one in, it is a little difficult to get the top bolts in but we had a lift and all the tools you can think of.

nope, it comes with a plate that you just line the holes up. we put the bellhousing on first then slid the trans in, which was a little difficult.

what I found..
The McLeod comes with a sticker on it that gives you indexing numbers
then you have to buy the correct offset dowl pins and install those in the block.

then put a dial indicator so that it rotates with crankshaft and you can confirm
the bellhousing is centered with the crankshaft/flywheel.

the trans mounts to the bellhousing so you have to make sure the bellhousing
is aligned PERFECTLY so that the trans is lined up correctly
if not the clutch does not engage right, you get vibration, premature pilot bearing failure.....ect...........

general rule is that you only need to index SFI bellhousings, not the stock aluminum ones.
