TMC rear lowering kit

I just installed the TMC rear lowering kit and this thing is awesome. My rear end was sitting a little higher than my front and it was bothering the h&ll out of me. This kit dropped the rear about an inch and now the car sits totally level.

I was actually going to install the 5 leaf mid eye...saved myself a ton of money.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason NOT to use lowering blocks?

Biggest reason is that lowering blocks increase wheel hop problems. They also tend to be prone to cracking/failure, but I think that's because of crappy design/materials more than anything.

I've seen a lot of posts where guys have said they're going to replace their perfectly good leaf springs with 5 leaf mid eye's in an effort to stiffen the ride and lower the car and inch. I guess to make the car sit more level. I was just wondering why more people didn't just use the lower blocks.

And yes, I'm using the new longer uBolts.
