Hey all,
Just curious as to what mods you have done to your pony, and how it increased the horsepower and torque and all that good stuff?

Mine to date in no certain order:
>MAC CAI--I have the fenderwell piece still but I put the stock piece from the MAF to the TB back in. No SOTP feel but it did increase my gas mileage some.
>MAC O/R H--SOTP was noticable but not major. Sounds ALOT better even with stock cat-back
>Steeda Tri-ax--Very good mod. Gotta like short-throws
>Roush U/D pullies--Minimal gains but noticable.
>FFRP Aluminum D/S--NO vibration and had to have gain some due to less weight and rotational mass but I didn't really 'feel' a differance.
>FRPP 4.10-1 ratio gears--One word....AWESOME....

I don't have a 96-98 but you might check out T&J Performance as he has just completed the design of a new turbo kit for your car. Results should be forthcoming soon.

Mods are in my sig, along with my current best timeslie (minus a few mods), and my recent dyno run. The car feels 110% better than stock.

PI CAMS
SVO/ROUSH Supercharger with a 3.4" pulley.
You will be right at 300 rwhp and more TQ than you can use.
All of the other stuff is not going to give you much and will add up to a ton of wasted money.

My mods are in the link in my sig. I have a headswap waiting to go on. My favorite mods so far are the exhaust system and my 4.10's. Can't wait to get my heads on.

These cars are truly dogs. The best mod is to drive it off a cliff, collect the insurance, and buy a Vette.

See sig. @ 60K miles. It's slow, but I love it. Just trying to be patient for a couple of years until some aftermarket heads become available. I'm sure that somebody like Trickflow will develop heads that breathe even better than the P.I. ones. Eventual mods will include aftermarket heads, cams, and upper/lower intake. Gonna' keep it N/A, for sure.

Best et is in the sig. I think the biggest gain in my cars bolt on life was the full exhaust headers to catback. I did change the clutch out recently, and it was not fun to say the least . Go with the Hookers if you go with long tubes if you want to save some headaches.

With minimal performance mods was very happy with the numbers and how it feels.

- '02 PI cams
- 2/3 Steeda Pullies
- Catted Bassani X mid pipew/cats K&N no silencer
- Densecharger TB tube
Dyno was SAE HP 218.2 / TQ 283.5
No track numbers

Recently added FRPP 2.5" SS Exhaust, definately worth adding, but no numbers to back it up yet.
