To polish or not to polish

isn't there something you can spray on it after polishing it to protect it and keep the shine?

theres that zoop seal stuff, i think paul used it on his wheels (killercanary)

IMO bling looks good in the engine bay, and wheels. After that it becomes rice.

Or if u wanted, just paint them black, that will look better and blend in more. Then if u wanted later on, get them powder coated in the chrome like finish when u have more money.

Just some ideas.

I do think polishing would look great though, just be sure to think about how big of a task it is.

The polish I sell has a sealant for the second part and keeps the shine very well. If interested, pm me. yeahlo95 bought some and was shocked with how the shine came out in his aluminum.

Here's the thing about polishing. One you start it never ends. When you do the brackets then you will find something else that doesn't match and the endless cycle continues. I threw in the towel and went away from it. If you have nothing but time then go for it.

Well, I'm just going get some one else to do the powder coating. Does anyone know of where I could send the brackets/alt cover to get them powder coated the "extreme chrome"? And How much?

Most of the time you could find a powdercoater in your town. Call a local paint shop and start asking around. You'll know within 2 or 3 calls tops. Thats how I find things, lol.

What do you think if I powder coated the brackets black and chromed the alternator? Would that look pretty good?
