yea stroke it, but not too far if you want a smooth running daily driver

You will need a different Crank, Rod's & Pistons for a Stroker. Cant use any of the factory 351W Rotating Assy. Parts. If your on a pretty strict budget, you could go with a Scat 9000 Crank, Scat Forged I Beam's, and some Forged Probe Piston's as the price's on all that stuff isn't too bad. Of course you will need a decent set of head's too if you want to make any power as well. That's just a VERY quick sum up.... I would say Stroke it For Sure Indy but be prepared to spend some cash. Oh Yeah.... a Perfomer RPM Air Gap would work alright on a 408 For Sure (Victor Jr. Would Be A Bit Better Depending On Combo), although a little porting & polishing sure woudn't hurt. Carb wise, it's kind of hard to say until you know what your using for head's, cam, compression etc. etc.
