I have read in a few posts on various boards of people that have had problems with front O2 readings after installing headers. I was wondering if it is worth my time and money to wrap my headers to avoid headaches down the road with the front O2s or even just to keep underhood temps down.

It is always wort it to keep the exhaust temps as high as possible. The hotter the gasses remain the faster they will flow.
Wrap that rascle.
