Toggle That Opens/closes Fuel Door.

I drove my roommate's mustang, and when I put gas back in the car, the toggle that opens/closes the push-to-open fuel door broke off when I removed the gas tank spout from the fuel door.

!!!

The door can open with finger-nails, but that is no good. I don't see any screws near the area for expedient DIY repair. What can I do?

Tell your friend you broke it and pay for the repair at a shop of his choice. If he wants to fix it buy the parts and his lunch. Either way, if you're not sure how to fix it, don't.
