OK, here's my combo:

Rebuilt 302 w/unported E7's
Lunati 51014 cam (.500/.510 lift 218/226 duration)
cobra upper/lower intake
holley 70MM TB
Aeromotive AFPR w/gauge
FMS 24# injectors w/Pro-M 75mm MAF
Walbro 255LPH fuel pump
stock intake tubing w/K&N conical filter
shortie headers, Bassani ORX, dumped 2 chambers
smog pump and emission equipment removed (EGR valve still electronically hooked up)

Ive got gears and a clutch as well as rear control arms and DR's...and Nitrous :D

Her'es the problem. When you first start it up cold, it doesnt liek to dle.....let it warm up for 2 minutes or so and itll idle erratically.....kinda almost if its searching for idle, except not to a extreme extent.

I turned FP down to 30PSI and it wouldnt go any lower (vac. off). So i reconnected vacuum, double checked itming (12*) and went to put air in my tires hwile it was idling. By the time i was halfway through with the other tire, my eyes were watering and my nose was burning......so its running rich as hell. my Pro-M just got back from a re-cal, because last year it was ****ty and now it is 10x better.

Car runs pretty good. It doesnt stumble and pulls clean, especially being on stock E7's. I have no idea what it runs because i just got it going again. Ill be hitting the dyno next saturday and attempting to get my A/F correct as possible.

Question....Do i need to put the 24's/MAF away and drop my stock 19's back in? Are the 24's/MAF just too much for what my car has done to it? Im going to keep the 24's because I know Ill need em when I get my AFR's on in a few months.

Thanks for the help!

Really the 24's with correct maf should not be a major issue at idle with stock pressure setting, 30's a little low in my opinion. You can definatly keep them in place if your not having drivability issues even if they are a little big. As far as the exhaust smell at idle..I may be inclined to look at pulling the codes, and might want to check on those o2 sensors.

I had 24's on my car with just a Cobra intake, 1.72 rockers, and some other bolt ons, and it ran fine. 24's really aren't too big for your combo. I would check some other things like codes, TPS voltage, IAC, vacuum leaks, etc. I would bring your FP back up to 39-40 with vacuum off, and you should be able to run around 14 deg of timing
