If you had 100,000+ miles on your 99+ stang, if you just bought a new forged rotating assembly, would your motor pretty much be good enough to slap a high boost blower on it? ... or would a whole new short block need to be bought?

well assuming that you put in new bearings and a new oil pump when you install the new rotating assembly, for all intnets and purposes you have a new short block.
