275's on 17x9's....

a 285 shouldn't fit on an 8 inch rim....please someone correct me if i'm wrong...but I don't think it's possible without major problems

I'll correct you, yes you can fit them. They bulge out, but I like the bulgy look. I prefer it over the flat look.

I wasn't sure, we tried to fit 275's on my old tribars, and there was no way they'd go on there...maybe we just didn't try enough lol

Maybe you didn't. I was running 275s on my old cobra stock wheels.

I hope you mean 17 x 8 rim....because that's what he's trying to get at

a 17 x 9 wheel should hold a 285 with no problems at all...
