Top loader 3speed

I can’t seem to find my vin tag on the decoder charts and I want to know what my trans is from and if it’s a close ratio. Also I plan to put it on a 351 what bellhousing and clutch do have to use. RAN CX GE 011456

No such thing as close ratio 3sp top loader
I don't see your tag number in the charts either (David Kee Toploaders)

3.03 is a great trans and for v8 ( I think 3.03 is distance between shafts in trans)
2.73 is a 6 cylinder trans.
25 spline input shaft (sucks, I bent/ twisted one drag racing on street tires) was discontinued early in 1965 and 28 spline 1-1/16 became standard for everything up to 390 light duty.

This trans was used in various forms behind big blocks and AMC as well.
Was also used for 3 on tree applications and with top cover shifter in some jeeps.

Yours looks to be passenger car type by shifter bolt on location.

Top Loader bellhousings must measure 6 1/4-inches deep. If it measures 6 3/4-inches deep, it is a truck bellhousing and should not be used. Courtesy David Kee Toploader Transmissions.

Hope this helps some.
