Top speed shut off

These cars are about as aerodynamic as a brick with a sail on it. With stock gears and with over 400 to the wheel mine has trouble hitting 150 on the roads around here. Fifth gear in these cars is stupid for anything besides saving gas.

I have 3.73s, and 5ths actually not THAT bad when you come out of 4th @ 6200...but next time I drive it my new shift point will be 5500 so may not be as easy....

Our cars really wont go 155 STOCK....so they didnt put one on the car. No need if the car wont do it.

And even with the Z rated tires there is still a limit at 155mph, at least on the slobras.

I have mine when was totally stock up to 140,car field pretty stable but don't have the power to go peas that 140.........

Yea I think if the vehicle CAN hit 155 stock, then it gets the limit....but if it cant stock (99-04 GT) then it gets some rediculously high limit .

I've been to 145 in mine, scary how stable it is at that speed. My fox sounds like it is going to fall apart at 120MPH

on both counts. My fox just feels like it's going to rattle apart at anything about 85. The wider wheels help, I won't go above 80 with the winter wheels on, the fox feels like it's going to fly into the air. There's a huge banking turn on I-80 around where I live. I love going around that thing going ~120. Turn a lot of heads and no cops ever

Wow, I thought I was bad hitting 110 on the hwy. I'm always afraid to hit speeds over 100 cause I drive for a living, and if I lose my license or even get a reckless I lose my job.

I hit about 140 and looked down and was like I better slkow down. Its not that big of a deal to go that fast. Faster you go, the faster you get pulled over/DIE
