I was only saying specific so this thread stays on topic and answers your actual questions.

What torq converter do you guys recomend???
For me, DirtyDog based on reputation (reading into this). Then PI - but it can get expensive and had iffy reputation about their hubs unless you get a billet one. Although, mine is made by a company called Spec-Rite.

2800 stall or 3200 stall???
3200 - i usually recommend 3200-3400+ depending on what you future mods will be.

How much power will i see out of it???
0hp/0tq. You don't really gain power from a torque conveter. You main gains a few horse from chosing a smaller diamter TC like 9/9.5/10/10.5" being less rotating weight. But it multiplies torque application, not actual output. It's similar to changing your rear gears or having a transmission with a low first and 2nd gear ratio (high number). It'll actually accelerate harder under WOT, but you're not gaining power.

How much do they cost???
$450-1000 depending on what/who you want.

Worth the money or should i save it for something else???
I wouldn't say just yet. if you want some more transmission pep try the j-mod (search button) or a shift kit and a new tune which can change all kinds of things like shift pressure and schedule. I dunno for sure though, as I don't know your mods.

Regardless of all this, you should get a stacked plate trans cooler ASAP - or the next time you open up the trans it wont be to put in a TC, it will be for a rebuild.

Iv already done the J mod and i have a trans cooler already since my car is an auto i figured it wouldnt hurt to buy one from the start but should i get a better one???

I plan on a KB in the near future if that helps and money really isnt a issue i just want the best one for my car

And thats what i ment what will i see out of it performance wise, sorry shoulda cleared that up

I literally just shot coffee out my nose when I read that.

If you only knew...

Out of the few choices you mentioned I would definitely say Circle D hands down. But, there are others if you know who to talk to.

I actually meant to say DirtyDog based on what i've read. I'v never personally dealt with him. But post up if you know otherwise - it's always good to keep people informed. I've certainly heard of BC as well.

As for if you should do the TC now. I say wait until after the KB (or what ever you chose ) and then do a TC so that you can have a TC designed to your power and more specifically where your power hits.

I've got one of you're transmissions and a torque converter spec'ed by you (built by TCS if i remember right), and i'm fairly happy so far (only 250 miles on the new motor/turbo/trans combo so not much to go off of so far :) ), but this kind of bashing should at least include a reason.

I've heard some positive reviews about DirtyDog on other forums. A PM would suffice, but more than baseless bashing would be appreciated.

Anyways, i've got a 2800rpm stall and i could probably use a bit more stall. Of course some tuning might take care of my issues.

What stall you end up going with is going to be VERY application dependent. Let whoever you decide to go with know what you've got and what your plans are. They should be able to spec out a good torque converter for you.

This is probably part of my issue as well. I had planned on making a lot less power with a much smaller turbo when i ordered my transmission and torque converter.

Yeah, 2800 would be a bit low for a turbo build if you ask me. I can pm you what he sent me if you want.

Sorry, I thought that was commentary on my reaction to reading something more than bashing. LOL

I don't think we should do another public bashing thread. All that does is drag out a bunch of people with agendas and they tend to act like children and do really stupid things.

If anyone has questions on why I have my opinion, which I didn't share in any way yet of course :) , they can feel free to PM me.

How times have changed? I kept my nose out of what happened between you and Alan. I am actually kind of curious to hear your side of the story...

That said. I have been extremely happy with my CircleD reworked PI Triple Disc.
