Torque Boxes?

Hey all,

Just ordered the laundry list of suspension upgrades for my stang from MM. I realized that since I'll be putting in a new adj. LCA's and a panhard and torque bar, I should do the torque boxes while I'm at it. Anyone have any recommendations?

Mine are from Wild Rides Racecars, and they seemed nice enough. Definately worth doing, and definately worth welding. I haven't yet, and I've noticed that the lock nuts aren't doing thier jobs very well even with locktite on them. I think overall, welding them in provides a lot more protection. One of these days I'll have to take my own advice...

Talk to Rick91GT; great price on a really good product. Mine went in without a hitch. You can just bolt them in and have the seams welded at your earliest convenience if you so choose. I had a buddy weld mine for a case of beer :D

Oops, correction- now that this post popped up again I see I pitched the wrong brand. Not that it matters, but mine are from UPR not WildRides. I still say WildRides has good stuff though, their new one piece upper control arm box looks killer. Almost makes me wish I still had upper control arms... almost

I just brought it up because it showed the replacement of the stock torque boxes with a very nice looking aftermarket peice. It was within the past couple of months.

Chris you are referring to the upper TQ boxes correct? That total replacement is made by Wild Rides, aka "The Stang Box"

Yes, I'm pretty sure that was the one. I'll check on it later today.
