Torque Converter Upgrade

I'm looking around for a new torque converter to help my launch off the strip and I just wanted to know the brands that some other enthusiasts use and prefer, and what to avoid. I don't want to make a $400 mistake!

Id look to Edge Racing Converters, More Horsepower with More Torque Guaranteed! Im assuming you have a AOD, Andre has some nice options for them.
