I've noticed that most of the guys with 03's are running catted mid pipes. Now i realize that you have less crap to deal with with inspections, service dept., police etc. when you have cats in place. My question is- With a supercharged engine is there a concern with retaining a certain amount of backpressure for optimal power/torque? Would this make an offroad mid-pipe a bad idea with a catback?

what kind of mods do you aleady have? if you've got the stock cat-back (or any aftermarket that is 2.5inch) you'll have all the backpressure you need

I have a MAC prochamber and a Densecharger sitting in the garage until the engine has another 1000 problem free miles on it. I would like to go with either a Borla Stinger or a Magnaflow cat-back.

Sounds like a good upgrade to me. I've seen no data to backup needing cats for backpressure.
