I have some loose wheel bearings and I need to tighten them up. know the old school way but wanted to know the official torque spec. anyone got it handy??

I read something about this not long ago.

Thinking maybe it was in the shop manual, I was repacking my wheel bearings and I think it was 6 to 8 lbs..

Please double check that info though, its been awhile and I`ve slept since then.....

After a quick Google search I found this ****Bearing torque specs**** Not sure if it will help. The 81-81 Granada info is on page 9 then the note is on the bottum of page 19.

tighten them till they squeak, then back 'em off a quarter turn
