OK so My dad calls me this morning that he feels like driving over to my house to go for lunch. This is not that strange in its self but he lives 3 hours away. I ask him why and he said just because it was a nice day and he felt like going for a drive. Well when he showed up he was driving this.

From what I can see it has:
Steeda cat back
Steeda Caster/Camber plates

I assume it has some Steeda springs if it has the plates.

I am not sure what the wheels are, any input is welcome.

And I think it has an after market clutch because it is decently heavy and has a slight chatter so that may be steeda as well (just asuming from the other steeda stuff?????)

The good news is that when I graduate from college my dad will pass it down to me. I am a junior right now but because I am studying Mechanical Engineering I have about 2 years left. The longest 2 years of my life.

Let me know what you think :SNSign:

I cannot say that I was not surprised as chit. I guess it is a little more motivation to get done with school. I know my pops will have a fun time with the car and it will be taken care of.

I guess for his birthday and christmas I should buy him some upgrades like a pulley and what not. lol :D

Lol. Yes it is the same dad. As you may have read [or not] I let everyone know i was just joking around.. but any way

Right now it is his to enjoy and when I graduate it will be his gift to me. Which is awesome considering my sister got a Kia. :rlaugh:

Anyway, he let me drive it yesterday and I am in love. It was my first time driving a Termi and it was amazing. :hail2: Since both my parents were in the car and it was raining I barely even got the boost needle to move but I got to go fill her up at the gas station alone and got a little taste of what she was about.:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::

Congrats then. They are increadiable cars and need to be treated with respect when its your first few times driving one. They make alot of power very low in the powerband so they can get you in trouble very quick.
That is the first time I have ever seen one with the stock pully and no pully cover.
I also have never seen one with no "COBRA" on the brake calipers. The SVT in the grill is something I havent seen before eaither.

Car sure is a nice color :nice:

Maroone, my Uncle is the head mechanic down there in boca.:nice:

Yea, that sticker is already off :D

So I guess I should list plans [like everyone else does when they get new cars and what not]

I would like to keep the cobra simple with a few mods like pulley, tune ect and keep it a nice dd at about 500 hp. The car is beautiful and I do not want to eff with it. As for the ol 97 gt.. She will become a project car and be gutted, caged, and prepared for weekend track use. I looked up the KBB value and it is not even worth the effort of selling it. I have spent more money keeping her on the road the past 4 years than i can get.

IMO 2 stangs are better than 1 :p

it looks like the "cobra" on the caliber has been sanded off or something, cause if you look closely, you can see something that was there.

Yeah, you can see the faint outline of it on there. Does look sanded off though

I often wondered how a SVT badge would look in the grill. Now I know.

Next time I am around the car I will look closer at the calipers. My dad is keeping it safely 3 hours away from me. lol

How do you think the SVT looks in the grill Laser? I was torn. I do like the snake but i also already have two of those on the car.

I just found another picture I have and I was able to zoom in on the caliper. It does say cobra but it is just the same color as the rest of the caliper.

Also Laser: Why do you run your snake badges backwards? I have always noticed this and i was just wondering if you had a reason other than to make pople look twice [Like they need an excuse to stare at your car :hail2:]

Its alright. I could take it or leave it.

It was done at the shop that originaly built the car in Florida. I have seen a few vids on youtube at their dyno of Cobras they built and all of them had backward snakes on them

I just never cared enough to risk hurting the paint there to move them around.
One day I may as i get the question ALOT :rlaugh:

Yea. I had to point that out to my dad. He did not even know what it was so I had explained it to him. I hope he remembers. I think i will him a call because it was pretty full when he let me drive it.

Laser leave the badges. It is a very small thing to catch the eye. I always thought it was cool but thats just my .02

Quick question... Where is a good place to go for reliable info and some good reading on the 03-04 cobras. I want to learn everything about them. :D
