i am faced with a tough decision folks. either i spend money and convert my 95 gt from AODE to 5 speed, buy a 94-95 gt already 5 speed, or wait a little bit and get a 2000-2004 GT, possibly an 03 Cobra. yeah, it's a few decisions to play with but it's hard to part from ur car after havin it for a while. just need to decide where i'm gonna dump my money. any suggestions would be great! thanks..

Do you have your heart set on a 5 speed? Why don't you just build your AODE or buy a Art Carr tanny. A nice stall and shift kit/manual vavle body will really wake that thing up.

personally, i'd go with the 03 cobra AND keep my SN, BUT what have you done to your SN? if i had to decide either to stick to my car and convert or just buy a 5-speed, i would stick with mine. how long have you had it? i ask this cause if you car is running w/o any problems, why sell it. 302s are very dependable engines.

Go 03 Cobra all the way if you can.

If you are iffy about cars and tend to sell them? A AOD to 5 sp conversion wont sell as well as a car born with a 5 speed. Either way defenitly go 5sp.

If you're not gonna go all out, go for a 2000 up GT or a 2k3 up Cobra like you mentioned.

Agreed, if you can get a newer GT. It will most likely be more dependable than you 95. If possible get the 03 cobra. Those things are just badass. And if you want something in the middle look at a 99 or 01 cobra or the Mach 1s. You have a lot of options. But if you keep the 95' leave the AODE. It is a better as a DD plus a well built AODE will handle more hp/tq and be better at the track. You could even swap for a C4.
