tourqe converter woes

torque converter woes

im trying to seat my tourqe converter onto my brand new tci streetfighter c4. i have the correct converter but as with the last time it is proving to be a huge pain in my ass. is there a special trick to make this easier cause its really getting annoying lol.

Are you installing the input shaft in the tranny first or with the converter? I've found there's usually enough play to install the shaft into the converter and then into the tranny. As soon as the flats on the converter engage the pump gear, you need to keep rotating (wiggling) the converter until the shaft engages the front clucth pack. When it does, it should slide the rest of the way.

the input shaft is in the tranny but i can get mine to slide out the front. its a brand new tci streetfighter c4
