I like the NT-01's, they look downright badass, but be prepared for a very short life on them, IIRC they have VERY low treadwear. They're actually a road race tire.

FWIW I LOVE my Nitto 555R's. They have like 8,000 miles on them and still have more than 50% tread left. I know those arent the ones you are looking at though, but they might be the same compound.

the thing I like about the new nittos is that they are not supposed to chunk on the track, however they look like they would only last about a weekend
The proxies are great for road racing like the nittos seem to be but look as if they would last longer.
Are drag radials bad for auto x and road racing? I dont seem to have problems.
also the nt01's come in 315 45 18's so they would be fat out back

i'm pretty sure those are the t1-s ... i had them before the t1-rs i have now.

they don't make them anymore

Toyo cut down alot on the proxies line... still my favorite tire... up front they make your car handle like its on rails....

No i dont think so this is what i was looking for when i bought mine... i got a set used... one had a bubbled side wall... i couldnt find another to match... this shop said they had them instock... then installed one on a rim for me... and it didnt match.... so i had to go back and buy another to match... i like the ones im running however not too pricy either

What is your intended use of these tires? Street/autocross/drag?

mostly auto x and track racing/touring, and street as well, but i will take it to te drag strip a few times, so pretty much everything except drifting
