im about to swap my stock tb/plenum for an accufab 70mmtb+plenum. i know the tps sensor is going to be a pain in the arse to remove (any tips on removal would be great). in the event i destroy the sensor trying to remove it and have to buy a new one, how do you set the voltage on it? anything else besides setting the voltage?? thanks.

There is locktite on the screws so you may try heating it up to melt it away. Since the TPS is plastic I'd be extra careful. Although some will tell you the voltage is adjustable it is very very minimal. Just make sure it is mounted correctly. These posts may help...

I recently replaced the TPS on my Ranger. I removed the entire TB assembly because the screw heads for the TPS were so close to the firewall (no room for screw driver). Once I had access to the screws, I used a phillips head bit, a socket that the bit would fit in and a ratchet. This allowed me to put more torc on the screw than a regular screwdriver. The screws did have thread loc on them but it wasn't a problem. Just take it slow so you don't strip the heads.

I also took mine off, put the whole plenum/TB assembly in my workmate vise and used my electric screwdriver. They are tight, but it's not that big of a deal. Taking it off the car is the key, as well as using the correct size screwdriver bit.

Maybe I have Hulk strength or they forgot to LocTite those screws when my car was assembled but for me they came out without a problem.
