Track In Cecil Georgia (Valdosta)

Anyone been out to the new 1/4 mile track in Cecil Georgia?

Yes. Its a GREAT track. Tim Pafford owns it. He use to live across the street from me. He also use to own US19 dragway and the circle track in Albany, but he doesnt anymore.

From what I hear, they are in the process of making it into an oval track and it will be a location for Nascar Truck series to come to. My brother's friend that has a 94 GT ran a 12.1 the other day. I plan on running my 05 GT against my brother's 03 GT when I get it in Feb.

Yes, There are plans to build an Oval track there. Tim, the owner, had a small oval track in Albany that ran midget cars and stock cars. I think at one time the outlaw cars may have been there. The track in Cecil is a nice one. It has been "built right" compared to other tracks here in the south.
