My goal leaving today for the track was to go 13.5 at 101-103MPH...Car is a full weight gt with full leather interior and full spare and jack in the rear riding on Chrome Cobra R's ...mods in sig...tires that were used were bfg g-force kdws 275/40/17 and were worn down to the wear bars...so getting bald...pressure was left alone at 32 psi. Launching the car by a little clutch slip and giving her heck!!!!

Best of the 5 passes tonight:

60' 1.935
1/8 8.682
MPH 81.06
1/4 13.504
MPH 102.83

The car was hooking off the line and I probably could have launched it harder but I was still hesitant about spinning, but it was hooking to go a 1.9 on street tires, I was stoked!!!!! I ran my goal for the car and I left the track a happy camper!!!!

Launching was right around 2,000 but I was mostly slipping the clutch, it was a feel launch...as far as shifting, it would be my best guess is 6000 rpm's, right before the rev limiter, on my last run I actually hit the limiter in 1st it came up so fast haha...but usually I shift right before the limiter according to the stock tach...thats when I need a shift light

I've honestly found my shift light useless, no matter where I mount it... :dunno:

Great times though man! Learning how to get it outa the hole is a great skill Pretty impressive times for a nearly stock car, also.

Your car has more.... I was running the same as you until I got a set of Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials. I avg 13.2's now and dip into the 13.1's at times. My goal is also 12.99 also. Going to weld up my torque boxes and replace my rear upper and lower control arms this week, hopefully that will reduce my 60 ft. and get me closer to 12.99. If not, I'm going to have to drop weight or add hp to make it.

What are your mods? Yeah, I def. know with tires it will go low 13's...and get a tune and Im sure that will def. help with a programmer and such, plus also adding the 4.10's or 4.30's

Go to my profile and then follow the link to my homepage for a list of mods. I've got shorty headers but they didnt gain me anything on the dyno. The dyno tune, exh, plenum/tb, gears, and tires are the main ingredient for the 1/4. As you can see, my hp/tq #'s are avg.
