Double crossing my fingers for next weekend to hit the track.

Going with these mods...

K&N intake, RPM plenum and 75mm PP TB, UPR o/r X, Mac Flowpaths, Diablosport (hopefully I can tweak it around a little before then), and MGW short throw.

Also have a set of DR's I will be able to barrow. 275/70/15's... fat assed tire, so traction wont be an issue.

What do you guys think I should be running?

I concur. It will be upper 13's. Maybe mid 13's if you work at it, and have a good track. Wait, you don't have gears listed. I'd stick with high 13's.

I do not want to s**t on your parade but unless that 70 in your tire size is a mistake it will kill the stock 3.27:1 rear. A 275/70/15 is 30.2 inches tall verses the 245-45-17 25.7 inches tall. With these tires you would need a little more than a 3.73:1 to have the same gearing as the 245/45/17 - 3.27:1 car. It will help the 60' times and then down hill from there on.

Ture about the tires. My cousin let me borrow his E/T Streets he used on his SN95 for racing in the 10.5 street legal classes. I had similar mods and with stock 3.27's. It went blahhggg. I could barely make them spin in water. Launching at near redline and dumping the clutch, it felt like an axle was gonna bust and the clutch was about to explode. It felt like when the T/C comes on. Just nothing. The car came off the line like a soggy paper bag. I tried again with 3.90's at a later date, with better results. You'd probably run better times with the stock tires on.

Yeah I have heard that from a few other people too, and I understand the logic behind it.

Im not going to worry about launching the crap out of it cause I dont want to break anything, but ah well... hopefully the street tires wont hook too terribly.

Just run against a faster car. That way in a few days you can tell everyone you ran the 11.87, not that Nova you raced against. We'll believe you. Just add a few more mods to your sig. No problems mate.

well, i ran a 13.7 @ 101 w/ a 2.0 60ft w/ 4.10s and o/r X on Kuhmos. but then again, im an amazing driver
if you have any skill at all, i would expect around the same time, although that DR size worries me, being that it will severely mess up your final drive ratio.

i ran a 13.79 with all the bolt ons and 3.90 gears. you sould be in the high 13's. your NEED some gears badly! i have a set of 3.73's you can have if you want them. they will need to be cleaned up(rust from sitting under the carport) just pay for the shipping and they are yours.

What!?!?! FREE 3.73's?!?

Are they used, and if so in good shape (aside from rust)?

Check your PM's in a second.

Well i ran a 13.7 at 101 with xpipe, catback, intake and throttle body on street stock tires. So im guessing with your mods 13.8-13.9. Stick with your streets those tires are way to huge for stock gearing lol. I cant wait to go back with my 4.10s

Cool, I could definatly put them to use, thats for sure.

If you decide you want to head to the track with us and want to bring the gears that would be awesome, should be a good time.

As far as the tires though, I want to make a few runs on street tires to see how it does, and then I want to make some runs on the DR's. I know it will bring down the overall gear ratio but if I can launch hard enough and get traction I think that will overcome the reduction... I guess we'll see, I probaly wont be giving it its all on the DR's because I sure dont want to break anything, lol.
