Do you know what happened to the yellow Mustang that was pushed off the staging lanes? I thought I saw him running mid/high 12's a couple passes before that.

Yep...it's offical...I'm an idiot.

What's the word (if you've heard anything)....is it better with a 75 like the C&L or is the 70 perferred?

That I don't know, I used the FR 70mm because I already had one

When you order the Dragon Plenum get the 75 mm no matter what TB you use!

No, this one was just like a normal yellow GT, or maybe it was a Cobra. Had a Cobra badge on the side but that doesnt mean much now a days.

To stay on topic.....my GT just has a K&N w/4.10's, but I installed the C&L w/Accu.75mm the day before the trip and even though I didnt run my best 60fts or 1/8th's, I'm happy that I got a 13.85@101.

I generally dont drag race(as my SN shows), so I figured the roll bar and the NON-drag friendly suspension would slow me down.

the reason i ask is because if i compare my previous best of 12.71@105.53 to my new best of 12.45@108.03 i could claim that the plenum/t.b. combo i just installed(only change to the car) gave me gains of almost 3/10 and 2.5mph but when comparing the runs (BOTH) corrected to factor DA i really only gained 1/10 and 1mph. are you comparing both runs with corrected times?

IMHO only real way to test it is to try it both ways(stock vs dragon) at the track on the same day under the same conditions to see how much of a difference it makes.

I agree and that what I did with my c&l

runs before c&l

2.05 2.04 2.01
13.81 13.82 13.76
@101.1 101.5 101.4

runs after c&l (only able to make 2 runs)
2.09 2.12
13.60 13.54
102.5 103.12

swapped the plenums in the staging lanes my best being a 13.54 corrected to 13.3@105 (was 1450 above sea level)
I was wrong on the alt it was 1450 above sea level not 1240

its been almost 3 mnths since I made those runs

That is a good gain. What TB are you using, and what are your other mods?

I installed:
a "Dragon" Plenum--performance mod
Aluminum D.S.---
Steeda LCA's---
Tokico 5-ways and lowered my ET. .231 seconds (average for 3 runs) and picked up 2 MPH (average of 3 runs)

I am still producing 2.0xx 60 ft. times, so I don't think the LCA's helped my ET. They are just making my 60 ft. times more consistent!

Before this install my ET./MPH (average of 4 runs) was 14.084@98 mph
Now it is 13.853@100.2 the "Dragon" Plenum Rocks!!!!
