ok well I took the saleen to the track for the first time...Needless to say Im very dissapointed..my 99GT stock was fatsre than the saleen..lol... Well here is my breakdown and i know my 60ft is HORRIBLE btu how you think I can do with my mph...best 60ft i could run was a 2.4....i had plenty of 2.8's..I even launched on idle and hit a 2.5....... my best mph was a 105.4..im also using stret tire(bf goodrich G force T/A)..what could i have run with maybe liek 2.1 60FT?

If your MPH was 105.4 it's likely that the problem resides in the wetware...you

2.8 second 60 foots? Wow.

If you could get reasonable 60-foots and so on you'd probably be very low 13s or even a high 12 if you really hooked and drove a perfect race.

105MPH trap? DANG...it must be cammed and have some power...roughly 280RWHP to trap 105s. Trust me, your stock GT was NOT faster than that. My Gt trapped 96.50 when almost stock....BIG difference. Whats the ET? I spun SUPER bad a got a 2.59 60' and still ran a 14.0. with a 1.90 I was running 13.5s.

thnx guys its kinda makes me feel alot better knowing i could have hit a 12's or so witht that mph... but boy no matter what I did launching i could not stop spinning... off an idel launch i managed a 2.5...Im positive the track wasnt prepped at all cause I dont have that much power to pull those 60ft times at idle..lol

Read my sig., then look at that picture of my tires a LITTLE closer.

I was simply agreeing that he need some better tires than he has. Any D/R, is better than street tires.

I'm just curious to know how you were running 14.0 with a 2.59 60'? I'm hoping this isn't in your stock state. Because at a 2.3 60' at 98 MPH I ran a 14.5 (bone stock). So....only explanation is that you weren't stock on this run. Just curious.

I ran 2.1 60ft and 14.40 at 97.5 in my all stock GT
