ok well I took the saleen to the track for the first time...Needless to say Im very dissapointed..my 99GT stock was fatsre than the saleen..lol... Well here is my breakdown and i know my 60ft is HORRIBLE btu how you think I can do with my mph...best 60ft i could run was a 2.4....i had plenty of 2.8's..I even launched on idle and hit a 2.5....... my best mph was a 105.4..im also using stret tire(bf goodrich G force T/A)..what could i have run with maybe liek 2.1 60FT?

You need to give us details... I mean do you go to the doctor and say "I dont feel well whats wrong?" Whats your total ET? Were you spinning off the line? Did you have trac control on or off? Do you have modifications other than the Saleen standard stuff? Whats your gear ratio? Standard or Auto transmission?

I took my car to the track tonight, (keep in mind we are at 4300 ft altitude) and ran a 13.92 at 100 MPH. I had a 2.1 60 ft time and 8.9 at the 1/8th mile. My car is an Auto Trans, w/ 373 gears and 285/35/18 yokahama tires. I did spin off the line some and was running with traction control on. I am running the Saleen Series II with a Chicane pulley. Anyway without any further info on your car hope that helps.

sorry just am very ashamed to post my times...lol... put it this way.. a civic could have beatn me...lol

Weird thread...but with a 105 trap speed thats certainly good for a mid 13 second pass but your 60' times appear your either launching the car with your foot on the gas and brake, or your just hammering right away...both are not what you would want from stock tires at full psi...lower your air pressure to around 28~30, and roll out till the car starts to move then let it rip....track conditions, temp, levels, etc all play a part in the 1320....One other little note, Saleen mustangs were not built for drag duty. :flag:

If i were you I'd get a line lock and some slicks. With that 105 mph you can get it in the 12's on slicks. Back in the day I ran 12.9@104 in my '89 Steeda on M&H racemasters launching it a 6k rpm's
