Went to the track tonight. Place was loaded, the busiest iv ever seen the place. I knew i wasn't gonna be able to get many runs in.

Basically tonight we didnt really tune the car much, all i was doing was getting seat time with the new car. Iv never drove anything the fast at the track so i had to get used to it first. Only adjustments were tire pressure and the burnout... All the engine is on a very safe tune right now.

Well anyways the first pass the car went 11.9 @ 120 mph - baby burnout, very very easy launch, spun all through 1st and 2nd gear.

Second pass it went a 11.3 @ 121 - bigger burnout, 2500-2600 launch, spun quite a bit in 1st and lots in 2nd. The air got really humid all the cars had dew on them, so i know the track was a bit slicker.

But next time we go when we can actually start tuning on the motor and suspension some, we will dip into the 10's on these worn out MT ET Streets - 275/40/17 .

I think it was a very good first time out, with no experience with the car.

So what kind of 60' times did you get? Do you have any time slips?

Also, have you had a chance to weigh your car yet?

Time Slips:

1st Pass:
R/T: .209
60': 1.952
330: 5.316
1/8: 7.898
MPH: 95.74
1000: 10.111
1/4: 11.982
MPH: 120.49

2nd Pass:
R/T: .152
60': 1.780
330: 4.846
1/8: 7.356
MPH: 97.67
1000: 9.537
1/4: 11.395
MPH: 121.33

I cant wait till we put some more timing into it, and put the big tires on it. Gonna be a wild ride. If the car hooks it will go 10's. Only time will tell.

Nice times, seems like it's running very healthy!

Have you weighed the car yet?

Good news man. Id like to hit the track soon, I think im either going to get an intake or exhaust for tax return and im going out. Those are great times for Orlando.

I wouldnt go to Lamotta Either, had some bad expierences with them, one of the guys Jay left and opened up his own little shop in a storage place down the road from him. Lamotta is like 10 minutes from my house.

I think Jay is the owner of Real Street Performance... That was the place i will most likely end up going to.

Let me know when you head out to the track, i would like to go down with you.

nice! with that power and a dialed in suspension you should be pulling 1.5 60' times. then it will be in the 10s for sure.

Well i went to the track again last night. The car is running very consistent. I went 11.31 i first pass and after that they told me i couldn't run that fast anymore without a cage. So the rest of the night i had to run 1/8 mile, which sucked. I was able to do the time conversions which based off my other 1/4 miles its very accurate. Last weekend i pulled a 1.9 and a 1.78 60'. Last night i pulled 1.63-1.68 every pass. Well here are the times, i can give ya the 1/4 mile conversion time but i don't know what the speed was.

1st: 11.31 @ 120.42
2nd: 11.24
3rd: 11.43
4th: 11.39
5th: 11.31
6th: 11.39
7th: 11.39

Before i go back i will have a cage in it. I will also have my MT 28x10.5 mounted on the 15x10 welds. I had a few minor problems at the track that i want to fix before i go back also.

Thanks for all the kind words, i appreciate it.
