i have 65 coupe, 289 hipo, stock rearend that i will change out the gearing when i get they money to do both gears and posi. anyways...i need traction bars and i have no idea what im looking for in them...better ones? cheaper ones? lighter? ect? i have no idea...please help me out. thanks
For a mild engine like the 289 HiPo I would suggest the traction masters like originally used on the Shelbys. They work great on my Shelby and it has quite a bit more HP than stock. The big plus is they are cheap. I think American Pony has them for around $70.
The traction masters are a great way to go. I use them on my 65 FB and I have 394 RWHP. They are low profile, almost invisible and extremely effective.
