Hey, That is the next step for my car! I got the power, now I need to put it to the ground.

Let me know how your car performes with the new suspension parts after your test drive!

Also, are those coils with the air bag streetable? In other words, will it hurt the air bag to drive on it everyday?

So what's the verdict nidyanazo? How much time did it take? Was it worth it? How does the handling feel now? ... and the big question... What did all of the parts cost?

Great pics by the way. I'll be installing similar renforcements very soon.

Well there are two things left for me to do. I just got the car insured last week, and on tuesday the 12th. I get my license back. So I won't be able to really test it out untill then. I have also been through 3 sets of lift bars, the first set I got they were both passenger side bars. I asked Jegs to send me a driver side one. It comes 3 days later (yesterday) and one of the bushings is all messed up. I called back to have anotherone overnighted (all this at Jegs expense) Now today another drivers side one came. I started ordering parts last week, the laurel mountain mustang springs were $175, and the quality looks good except for some flaking paint (but that's to be expected.) The airbag is made by Air Lift Products. They also have systems for bid trucks and people who tow boats etc... You can drive everyday no problem with an airbag.
I also have to get those tires mounted.
I'll make some videos when I get this thing back on the road...
Total time must have been ~18 hours or so. I got to work at a mellow pace, and I didn't have all the parts to start off with. Worst part: Drilling 7/16" holes through 8 pieces of thick as **** metal for the lift bars mounting extention.

Just a quick update: You can actually feel the car's rear lift up under hard accelleration. I put on my ****ty radials and took it for a blast around the block.
Dosn't pull to either side. Feels great! Can't wait to see how the DR's work!

You may want to do some additonal welding to the LCA brackets where they attach to the axle tube. I have seen lift bars rip those brackets right off of the axle tube with relatively low power levels. My Stang is going to the welders shortly to have the brackets welded up as well as the tubes welded to the rear housing.

So what's the verdict? You've had this thing installed for a while. What's your overall impression of the mods?
