Traction Control = Death Trap

Traction control blows. I got stuck trying to get up my driveway
when it snowed, and I had the tc on and I got stuck trying to get
up the driveway. I ended up turning it off and going back and forth
spinning my wheels until I hooked up. It sucked. I have also had a
problem with the light that lights up to tell you it is off not lighting
up. I had to jiggle the button and tap on it to get it to light back up.
I always turn it off now, just from force of habit.

I bought this trac adapt module and installed it last weekend. Keeps the traction control off until I turn it back on. I really love driving the car now. I can squeak the tires and not have to worry about the engine bogging down. Install took about an hour.

at least they gave us an override option.. some manufacturers dont.

ours isnt nearly as sensitive as it was on my dad's 97 Seville STS. You hit a bump and it would go off, then the TCS light stays on until you turn the car off.

NOt me, I usually forget to turn it off... but when it rains or snows I always turn it off. I don't like it kicking in and controling you.

but caddy TC actually works (so i've been told by my roomate who's parents had a 99 Seville STS and now a 03 Seville. and he drives his 02 v6 Stang with TC)

the caddy's was overpowering IMO. i'd go on a bumpy road, and it would go off, and not go away. as if to say "screw you buddy you obviously dont know how to drive, so i'm taking over"
