After nine days at the dealer I finally got my car back. They even rented a loaner for me. I didn't have to "twist" their arm about the repair work. Infact, they told me about the TSB for the steering noise and the Transmission. I origanally took the car in because the power steering pump seem noisy to me. I also mentioned to them about the steering "knock" I had and another dealership tried to fix it. They replaced the power steering pump and the other pieces covered by the TSB. I also said something about the tranny shifting this past winter and ask them to check it out. They called me the next day to say that there is also a TSB for the tranny and that they would fix it. It didn't take them long to do the repair work on the steering. However, it took about 7 days to get the tranny repaired. Between waiting on parts and labor it took awhile. The tranny had to come out twice. It had a broken OSS ring and had to be removed a second time. All is good now. It shifts great between 1 and second. I guess it's a good time to get either the "H" or "X" pipe on since the factory "H" has been dropped. The bolts should come out pretty easy. Just thought I"d share with you guys. Pearl02.
