The Dipstick tube for my c-4 was slightly bent when i reinstalled it. The mounting tab that installs in the back of the cylinder head no longer lines up. Will I get incorrect readings now on the dipstick itself? Should I replace it?
It should not affect the readings much at all, not enough to worry about anyway. Just massage the tube back into shape and position as best as possible and get that bolt through it and back into the head.
