Hey just putting some new fluid in and I am putting it in through the shifter just curious if that is how everyone else does it? My haynes manual and other things have said to put it in through another way but I have done it this way lately and it seems to work so just double checkin with someone.

as long as you take out the fill plug and let it drain down good until it comes out you will be ok.

I already have put in a couple of quarts through the top..Should I pull the fill plug right now? And is it there on the side easy to get to?
