Tranny Flush...

on a t45, its just a drain and fill. i bought 4 quarts of Mobil 1 ATF. i think it uses about 3.5. all i did was drain, then fill with a fluid exchanger until it came out the fill plug. another thing you can do it open the fill plug, then fill from the top(taking the shifter out).
 
Tremec recommends Mercon spec for the T-45, so I use plain ole' motorcraft mercron @ $2-3 per quart. However, you can also use GM Syncromesh, but this is overkill for the T-45. However, if you want to spend $11 per quart for 4 quarts then you should get the syncromesh. I am cheap so I didn't see the point.

As said, let drain and fill to just below the fill hole.
