I have an 04 mustang gt 4.6l auto with 127k miles. I have never had any performance issues with it. If i started out in low and stomp on it and get it up to 5k rpm and put it 2nd, it would chirp and get squirrly same from 2nd to drive. Also, at 40+ mph i would stomp on it and get womp womp and the read end would drop and car would fly.About a month ago I lost 3rd and OD. I took it to a shop and had the rebuild done on it. I can't get it to chirp anymore in low or 2nd and i dont have womp womp when i kick in passing gear only womp accompanied by a little bang and it doesnt take off like before. Ive taken it back to the shop 2x now and he says there's nothing wrong but ive owned this car for 8 yrs and it doesn't feel like the same car...any thoughts?
