Seems I'm leaking tranny fluid from the seam between the bellhousing and the transmission. I gave it a little look-over and it looks like the bolts to tighten it are INSIDE the bellhousing and I'm not equipped to take on a job like that nor can I really afford to have any extensive work done right now. Any ideas?

Are we talking crash box or slush box tranny?

I believe the bellhousing is not separable from the trans case on the TR3650 used in an 02 GT. Is the trans original? And even if the bellhousing could be removed, it would not be a source of a leak. The leak is probably coming out the input shaft.

Check the fluid level at the side-plug. If the trans was filled from the shifter opening it may have been overfilled leading to a possible front leak.

Isn't there a seal on the input shaft? If so, I'd look there. Unfortunately the tranny will have to be removed.

Input shaft seal most likely. Get that fixed pretty quickly before it takes out your clutch.
